How do I pick the right all-inclusive?
Start with who is going. Adults-only and family resorts are very different trips. Then look at the beach, the size of the resort and what is really included.
Is everything really included?
Your room, meals and most drinks are. Depending on the resort, some restaurants, the spa, premium drinks, excursions and airport transfers can cost extra. I will tell you what is and isn't included before you book.
Have you stayed at these resorts?
Yes. I have stayed at four resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, including all three Sandos resorts there and Hotel Xcaret, and I attended the Love Mexico conference, which highlights the best resorts and tour operators in Mexico. I am also a Mexican Caribbean Ambassador and an Xcaret Xpert.
When is hurricane season?
The Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30. Plenty of people travel then. I recommend travel insurance for every trip, and I will make sure you know your options.
Do you charge a planning fee?
It depends on the trip and how much planning it takes. I will tell you up front.
