Can you believe we are already in the second month of 2018? I figured it was about time I sent out an update. December was my busiest travel month ever and January was my busiest month booking amazing vacations ever! So to say I have been burning the midnight oil a lot lately would be an understatement.

I am so grateful for the opportunities my business has created for me. It is hard work, and the pay isn’t always that great, but I truly love what I do so I wake up every day excited about my life and my business.

Remember I am always looking for fun travel stories to share so if you have a great photo from your last trip or a great experience you would like to share, email me and I will share it in my next issue.

Here we go…

Where I Have Been:

My winter adventures began in Los Cabos. The annual Love Mexico Conference was held in Los Cabos at the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos. It is a conference for Romance Travel Wedding Specialists like myself to gain training and first-hand experience with the resorts that offer Destination Weddings. I arrived early and stayed late for the conference so I could tour many of the properties in Los Cabos as well as experience Los Cabos like my clients do.

After the Love Mexico Conference had concluded, I stayed in Los Cabos to attend a South Asian Weddings Training taught by Brenda Fernandez of the South Asian Wedding Institute. I learned all about South Asian Weddings, including the religions, rituals, events, protocol ceremonies, food, clothing, decor, and music. It was a great experience and I cannot wait to plan my first South Asian Destination Wedding.

I arrived back in Arizona just in time to start packing for our family vacation. We booked a Princess 2 week Circle the Caribbean Cruise sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to celebrate Christmas and New Years! The cruise had a non-stop itinerary with 9 island stops in 2 weeks. We were able to visit the Bahamas, St. Thomas, Antigua, Saint Kitts, Martinique, Barbados, Trinidad, Curaçao, and Aruba. We flew to Florida on December 19th and didn’t arrive back home until January 3rd, 2018! It was one of my favorite Christmases ever.

Where I am Going:

I will be home for most of the month of February and then I head to Puerto Vallarta to celebrate two of my favorite people’s 10 year anniversary with them. It will be another family vacation but a bit shorter this time. I will be squeezing in some work doing resort inspections while I am there but I am sure there will be a fair amount of lounging by the pool and beach also.

I may also be heading to Fiji the beginning of March. I am still waiting to get the final confirmation so stay tuned!
