IImperial Beach is a hidden gem of California. Its location as the most Southwesterly city in the United States makes it a less-traveled destination. Because of this, there are fewer beachgoers than other San Diego beaches, making it the ideal setting for an intimate ceremony. It also is a Marine Protected Area, guarding the sea life from fishing or other activities that may negatively impact the ecosystem. The beach is home to dolphins, seals, pelicans, and even whales, giving your wedding a true destination feel. As residents of Imperial Beach, we can offer our couples exclusive perks of getting married at this location, such as the ability to have a reception at an oceanfront house.
LA JOLLA BEACH AND CLIFFS
La Jolla is known for its rocky coast overlooking the entire Pacific horizon, giving you an awe-inspiring background for your photos. Many of the La Jolla Beach and Cliffs wedding locations are in grass, offering a different atmosphere than a toes-in-the-sand beach wedding. You’ll get the romantic, seaside view without worrying about sandy feet on your wedding day.However, should you choose to embrace the sand, you may get married on the beach as well. Details like a sand ceremony will add to the coastal-essence. These unique venues also provide you and your partner with more privacy to celebrate your love.
MISSION BEACH AND BAY
The Mission Beach Peninsula is just a short drive from the heart of San Diego. It’s beautiful beachside and bayside offer you and your families an array of activities to enjoy while in the area. You can choose to have your wedding at the beach, or for a more unique wedding, you can select one of our bayside venues. The beautiful San Diego bay offers incredible views of the city and sailboats. Mission Beach is known for its fun and vibrant atmosphere.
CEREMONY DESIGN AND DECOR
The Dream Beach package is designed for up to 50 seated guests. Your ceremony design and decor will feature a customized bamboo canopy designed with your chosen color palette, aisle runner, a fresh rose petal aisle and your choice of a variety of aisle decor and other decorations for you to choose from. It also includes up to 50 white chairs (no covers included). Setup, breakdown, sand sweeping, all with attention to detail and beautiful design are included in your package to ensure everything is photo ready.
You may choose to add Manzanita Trees with pedestals for $300. These can be used in Imperial Beach only. You have the option to choose benches instead of chairs for an additional $300. Benches can seat a maximum of 50 guests and can be used in Imperial Beach only.
We include stunning photography in this package to help you remember your special day. In our more than 13 years of experience, we’ve learned that 2 hours is just enough time to capture the most important parts of your ceremony. We’ll capture everything before and during the ceremony—including friends/family shots and romantic shots of just the couple. You will have 2 hours on location with the photographer and receive a minimum of 400 photos
—plus a Facebook sneak peek within 24 hours. You’ll be photographed with vintage signs reading “Thank You,” “Just Married,” and “Mr. & Mrs.” You may always add more time with the photographer onto your package.
One of our experienced and warm-hearted spiritual or secular officiants will perform your personalized and loving ceremony. A sand ceremony or seashell ceremony is included to add to the romance of the destination.
Your package includes an elegant bride’s bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, and a matching rose petal aisle. Your options include a fully custom bouquet or an inspired bouquet (usually based on your Pinterest). You may also choose to give us creative license. We’ll include flowers to honor your parents/guardians with before the ceremony. During the planning process, you may add canopy flowers, live floral aisle decor, extra bridesmaids bouquets, and boutonnieres onto your package. Please call us for a quote.
MUSIC SOUND SYSTEM
This package comes with a sound system so your guests will hear your vows. You’ll also be able to select romantic music to play through the iPod to add to the ambiance throughout the ceremony.
Your personal event coordinator will make sure that everything runs smoothly—from the moment you book your wedding with us to the moment you say, “I do.” We’ll greet your guests, present the bride and groom with your florals, and give guidance to everyone (including when it’s time to walk down the aisle). We will help you customize, coordinate, and plan your wedding ceremony from beginning to end.
MARRIAGE LICENSE DELIVERY
For marriage licenses that were obtained in San Diego, we’ll hand deliver them for faster filing, which is especially helpful if you’re traveling to San Diego for a destination wedding.
The beach permit for this package is included in the price for all of our listed locations except Coronado. We’ll obtain the permit from the city and have it with us during the ceremony so your ceremony will run smoothly.
