Lamego city tour OR the Holy Staircase hike, each with a Bôlas tasting. In Pinhão, a wine tasting at a local quinta.

Hike to the azulejo-tiled Pinhão train station, then lunch at Quinta da Roêda.

Barca d'Alva
Scenic cruising, then a Castelo Rodrigo tour OR hike, each with a tasting of regional fare.

Vega de Terrón - Disembarkation
Say goodbye to your new friends and the AmaGaia, or continue on to Salamanca and Madrid with the optional post-cruise extension.
Itinerary is subject to change by AmaWaterways. The cruise ends in Vega de Terrón, on the Spanish border. The Madrid extension includes the transfer from the ship, and we will help you plan your trip home either way.

$250 Group Discount
$250 per person off your cruise fare, just for traveling with our hosted group. This one stays in place whenever you book.
$250 Early Booking Reward
An extra $250 per person off from AmaWaterways when you book and pay your deposit by October 31, 2026. After that date, new bookings receive the group discount only.
Together that is $500 per person, or $1,000 per stateroom for two. Savings apply to the first two guests paying full fare in each stateroom.
