Our December get-together is a downtown Christmas walk to close out the year. This is separate from our Friday, December 11 Christmas market day trip to Cullman.
We meet at 4:30pm in the lobby of the Chattanooga Choo Choo (1400 Market St) to see its big tree. From there we grab hot chocolate nearby, then walk up Market Street to Miller Park (or hop on the free CARTA downtown shuttle) to see our own tree in the Festive Forest as the sun goes down. We'll take a group photo, stop by the EPB holiday windows, and finish in the Read House lobby before heading back to the Choo Choo. It's about 1.5 miles round trip if we walk both ways, at an easy pace, and we should wrap up around 6:30pm.
Parking: the Choo Choo lot or the shuttle garage next to it.
Wear comfortable shoes and dress warm. We'll have our 2027 club calendar cards to hand out, and friends are welcome.
